Northwestern Pecos County in southwestern Texas... * Until 745 PM CDT. * At 643 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 13 miles south of Grandfalls to 24 miles southwest of Fort Stockton, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Fort Stockton, Firestone Test Track, Fort Stockton-Pecos County Airport, and Sierra Madera. This includes Interstate 10 between mile markers 240 and 271.

Fog is technically a type of stratus cloud, which lies along the
ground and obscures visibility.
It is usually created when humidity in the air condenses into tiny water droplets.
Because of this, some places are more prone to foggy weather, such as regions
close to a body of water.
Fog is similar to mist; both are the appearance of water droplets suspended in
the air, but fog is the term applied to the condition when visibility is less than 1 km.
