For the Rifle River...including Sterling...Minor flooding is forecast. For the Manistee River...including Sherman...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Manistee River near Sherman. * WHEN...Until early Tuesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Flooding impacts the Wilderness Canoe livery along left bank of river just downstream of M-37 bridge. At 16.0 feet, Flooding of property and homes adjacent to right bank of river along Ojibway Drive, Ottawa Drive, and Chippewa Drive 1 mile north of Sherman. Flooding of N11 Road between W14 Road and W16 Road 1 mile northwest of Mesick. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:45 PM EDT Friday the stage was 15.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 12:45 PM EDT Friday was 15.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 15.9 feet early tomorrow afternoon. The final form taken by a growing cumulus cloud is the
cumulonimbus cloud, which is very tall and dense.
The tower of a cumulonimbus cloud can soar 23 km into the atmosphere, although
most commonly they stop growing at an altitude of 6 km.
Even small cumulonimbus clouds appear very large in comparison to other cloud types.
They can signal the approach of stormy weather, such as thunderstorms or blizzards.

Drizzle is precipitation in the form of water droplets which are
smaller than raindrops.
Drizzle is characterized by fine, gently falling droplets and typically does not
